09 February 10 Mornin'...or "afternoon" depending on when it is that you stop by and read this. As you can tell, I've been changin' a few things around here. I figured that the web site could use a little face-lift and, being as I used to do it every year, it was about time for it. I'm takin' it slow...as I usually do with things these days...so not everything is gonna be available right away. There's gonna be more stuff on here that isn't so much "music oriented" too. I've been doing more voice-over work lately so I'll be putting some information up about that. I'll still be dropping by from time to time to write some stuff here. I know it's not every week like it used to be, but things are just a little different now, than they were 5 years ago. I'm not out there playin' every weekend so there's just not that many interesting stories to tell anymore...lol. What has been interesting is watching my daughter grow. I tell you, she is the most amazing thing I have ever done in my entire life. To watch her learn, play, walk, talk, everything she does...it's just amazing to me. Okay, so it might sound kinda "corny" to ya but it's the truth...I have never found myself so amazed at more moments in life as I have since becoming a dad. I admit that there are times when I wished I wouldn't have waited so long to have a child but, more times than the others, I am thankful that I waited. I feel like I am noticing more things now than I would have earlier. You know, the older you get, the more you pay attention...supposedly. Besides that, when she graduates, I'll have preferred parking in the AARP spots. :o) She turned two on 31 January. We had the family out here at our place for a little party. She got some neat gifts, she blew out one of her candles all by herself...the first one I helped her with...she had the best of days. I hope and pray that she has those kinds of days for the rest of her life. I know that there will be times when the days aren't so good...when those roll around I hope and pray that I'll have the right words to say. As I'm typing this, she's standing next to my desk having her morning milk. She's wantin' to sit in my lap, but it's kinda tough to type with her up here. I have a hard enough time with it already...lol So, anyway, I'm gonna letcha go for now so I can get my day goin'. Thanks for stopping by and I look forward to bringing you some exciting news. Blessings~ Les |
